Your hosts Lynne & John Boyce designed and built “Sydney Sundancer” as a ketch rigged motor sailing yacht, thus combining the grace and serenity of a sailing yacht with the stability and comfort of a motor boat. There is just so much deck space that “Sydney Sundancer” is licensed to carry in excess of 70 guests (plus crew) but your hosts prefer to limit the number of guests to a maximum of 50 to ensure everyone’s personal comfort at all times (through adequate space).
John & Lynne consider “Sydney Sundancer” to be their “floating home” so they engaged highly skilled shipwrights to luxuriously fit out their yacht’s interior to the highest standards for international chartering. And to ensure guests comfort at all times, John designed a special canopy (that extends virtually the whole length of the boat) to protect against the elements.
The best way for you to visualise your New Years’ Eve experience aboard “Sydney Sundancer” is to imagine you are attending a private party, hosted by John & Lynne aboard their “floating home”, in the middle of Sydney Harbour, where you will have uninterrupted views of ALL of the evenings activities during your Sydney Harbour Cruise. Whether you are a couple or with friends, rest assured, Lynne & John will welcome you to “their home” inviting you to mix and mingle, getting to know each other, so when we welcome the new year at midnight, you will feel you are celebrating with friends. You will, therefore, join a select group and enjoy a party atmosphere second to none.
If you choose to join our cruise, during the evening, you will be served the finest food afloat: the American gourmet magazine “Bon Appetite” has written to Lynne requesting one of her recipes for publication in the USA so you can be assured that the meal you will enjoy aboard will exceed your expectation and surpass much of what is served in well - known Sydney restaurants!
